This policy explains how TourDecoded handles information when the website is visited or contacted.
Website and server data
The hosting platform may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and security logs to deliver and protect the website.
Essential technology
WordPress, hosting, caching and security functions may use essential cookies or similar storage needed for site operation.
Contact messages
Information submitted through the contact form is used to respond to the message, evaluate factual corrections and protect the form from abuse. Do not submit sensitive personal information.
Affiliate links and attribution
TourDecoded uses affiliate links to third-party booking platforms, including Viator. These links contain attribution parameters identifying TourDecoded as the referring publisher. When a visitor follows an affiliate link, the destination platform may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute qualifying activity or a completed booking to TourDecoded. TourDecoded may receive a commission, at no additional cost to the traveler.
Third-party booking platforms process information under their own privacy policies and controls. TourDecoded does not operate those platforms or control their tracking technologies.
Analytics
TourDecoded does not currently use a separate website analytics service. If analytics is introduced, this policy and any applicable consent controls will be updated to describe the service and information involved.
